The age of Adam

 The redemptive history

  In chapters 4-5, the redemptive history of the genealogy from Adam to Noah is indeed significant. Soon the area around the chosen ones leading to Adam, Seth, Enoch, Noah, Shem, Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob narrows, and finally the nation of Israel becomes the Old Testament's chosen people.

The nation of Israel was none other than the very birth of Jesus, the descendant of the woman, the Savior of all mankind as promised in Genesis 3:15.

On the other hand, Israel's lineage with the Redeemer Jesus was a typology of the New Testament church's connection with the Lord in faith (Col. 2:19). And they later formally became Old Testament electors by the Sinai covenant, which later typified the New Testament church where the New Testament professed Jesus as Lord.

It was also a means of developing the Old Testament redemption through them and saving the whole world through Jesus, who would later come out of their people, never to save them as their chosen people. Old and New Testament times and salvation are given only by the faith of each individual (Acts 4:12)

  The first human beginning

  The first mankind that began after Adam was expelled from the Garden of Eden can be divided into four major divisions.
  1, the sacrifice of Cain and Abel 
  2, Lamech and Enoch of Adam's seventh generation, 
  3, Corruption 
  4, Judgment
